Da hat sich der britische Verkehrspsychologe Ian Walker laut <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spiegel.de\/auto\/aktuell\/0,1518,437114,00.html\">Spiegel-Bericht<\/a> nur mal eben -behelmt sowie unbehelmt- auf sein Fahrrad geschwungen und sich 2500 Mal von Autos \u00c3\u00bcberholen lassen. An sich eher eine allt\u00c3\u00a4gliche Situation. Doch Walker hatte ein <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/2006\/09\/vw_beetle_auf_s.html\">Computer <\/a>und einen Ultraschallentfernungsmesser mit dabei, um herauszubekommen, wie nah ihm die Autos auf den Stra\u00c3en Bristols und Salisbury im Durchschnitt gekommen sind. Das Ergebnis: Mit Fahrradhelm betr\u00c3\u00a4gt der Abstand beim \u00c3berholen satte 8,5 Zentimeter weniger. Was mich an der Sache nur erstaunt, ist der Begr\u00c3\u00bcndungsversuch, den Walker f\u00c3\u00bcr das Ph\u00c3\u00a4nomen parat h\u00c3\u00a4lt: Kann es wirklich sein, dass Autofahrer in behelmten Fahrradfahren <em>&#8220;in Lycra getarnte Stra\u00c3enkrieger&#8221; <\/em>sehen? <\/p>\n<p>Seltsam seltsam &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Das Gewinnen von Einsicht kann so einfach sein.
