Nach der Premiere des PPI RAZOR auf der letztj\u00c3\u00a4hrigen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/essen_motor_show\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Essen Motorshow<\/a> widmet sich der Audi Spezialist nun konsequent der Optimierung des Leistungsgewichts des <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/2009\/04\/audi-r8-ist-klassiker-der-zukunft-2009.html\" target=\"_blank\">Audi R8<\/a>. Als weiteres Resultat der gewonnenen Erkenntnisse aus Motorsport, Windkanal und aufwendigen Erprobungsfahrten wiegt der RAZOR GTR nun 250 Kilogramm weniger als sein Serienpendant. Hauptbestandteil des Motorenumbaus ist die Montage von PPI-Kompressoren. Auch ein Sportluftfilter und eine aus Edelstahl hergestellte Hochleistungsabgasanlage finden Verwendung.
