Bislang ist Opel eher eine regionale Marke, dessen Autos fast nur in Europa abgesetzt werden. &#8220;Ich bin davon \u00c3\u00bcberzeugt, dass wir mit den richtigen Produkten und einem starken Image in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/2010\/01\/eu-kommission-verlangt-von-erklarung-von-frankreich.html\">Europa <\/a>&#8211; und gen\u00c3\u00bcgend Geld, um das Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ft in anderen L\u00c3\u00a4ndern aufzubauen &#8211; mit Exporten au\u00c3erhalb Europas profitabel wachsen k\u00c3\u00b6nnen und werden&#8221;, sagte Reilly.<\/div>\n<p>   Wo genau Opel zuk\u00c3\u00bcnftig zuerst Fu\u00c3 fassen will gab der Konzernlenker nicht bekannt, es verdichten sich jedoch die Hinweise, dass eine Expansion in Asien geplant sei. Momentan noch gew\u00c3\u00a4hrt die US-Konzernmutter General Motors der deutschen Tochter keinen Zugang zu dem wichtigen US-Markt. Der Betriebsrat von Opel dr\u00c3\u00a4ngt allerdings stark darauf die Marke auch global zu verkaufen. Bis zum Ende dieses Monats will Reilly ein Konzept f\u00c3\u00bcr die Sanierung von Opel vorlegen, nachdem rund 9000 der 48.000 Arbeitspl\u00c3\u00a4tze in Europa abgebaut werden sollen und die Kapazit\u00c3\u00a4t gleichzeitig um 20 Prozent heruntergefahren wird.
