Als Hauptdarsteller agierte Til Schweiger in der Rolle des Bertie, nebst Tina Ruland als Uschi. Doch der wahre, heimliche Held des Films wurde Klausi, gespielt von Michael Kessler, der an\u00a0 Dummheit kaum zu \u00c3\u00bcberbieten war und dennoch au\u00c3erordentlich symphatisch ist.
