Zur Grundausstattung geh\u00c3\u00b6rt neuerdings ein 100 PS starker 1,4 Liter Benziner, der das 83 PS Basistriebwerk abl\u00c3\u00b6st. Zur Serienausstattung des Honda Civic geh\u00c3\u00b6rt zuk\u00c3\u00bcnftig bei allen Modellen ein Reifendruckverlust-Warnsystem. Im Innenraum hat sich auch einiges getan, denn hier werden k\u00c3\u00bcnftig h\u00c3\u00b6herwertige Materialien zum Einsatz kommen. Der dreit\u00c3\u00bcrige Type S r\u00c3\u00bcckt nun optisch n\u00c3\u00a4her an seinen st\u00c3\u00a4rkeren Bruder Type R heran. Im Oktober 2008 auf dem Pariser Autosalon wurde bereits das Facelift f\u00c3\u00bcr die viert\u00c3\u00bcrige Limousine mit Hybridantrieb vorgestellt.
