Der CIV (Concept Ice Car) ist ein 4,50 Meter langes und ebenso breites Gef\u00c3\u00a4hrt f\u00c3\u00bcr den Einsatz in Schnee und Eis. Gebaut wurde das futuristische Vehikel f\u00c3\u00bcr die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.transantarcticexpedition.com\/\">Moon Regan Transarktik-Expedition<\/a>, die die Durchquerung der Antarktis mit umweltfreundlichen Treibstoffen zum Ziel hat.<\/p>\n<p>Dementsprechend wird der CIV mit Bio-Ethanol gef\u00c3\u00bcttert und wiegt &#8211; wie f\u00c3\u00bcr einen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lotuscars.com\/\">Lotus<\/a> obligatorisch &#8211; wenig. So wenig sogar, dass eine Person alleine das Schneemobil ziehen kann. Was n\u00c3\u00b6tig w\u00c3\u00a4re, wenn der Kiste mitten in der Eisw\u00c3\u00bcste der kostbare Sprit ausgeht.
