Honda kam mit 329.091 Fahrzeugen auf 5,8 Prozent mehr Enheiten als noch ein Jahr zuvor. Bei Suzuki kletterte die Produktionsrate sogar um 13 Prozent auf 233.881 Autos, Mazda verbuchte ebenso ein Plus um 23,5 Prozent auf 113.075 Fahrzeuge.
