Das sparsame Aggregat soll nur halb so viel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/2008\/05\/gm-erffnet-mode.html\">Kraftstoff<\/a> verbrauchen wie <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/V-Motor\">herk\u00c3\u00b6mmliche Motoren<\/a>. Ein installierter Hochdrucktank wird w\u00c3\u00a4hrend des Bremsens sowie im <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motorlexikon.de\/?I=4194&amp;R=L\">Schiebebetrieb<\/a> mit komprimierter Luft gef\u00c3\u00bcllt. Diese Luft wird anschlie\u00c3end in Kombination mit dem Kraftstoff in die Zylinder geleitet. Dadurch wird der Spritverbrauch enorm gesenkt und auch der Schadstoffaussto\u00c3 wird verringert.
