Das Ergebnis ist mehr als eindeutig: Die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/2007\/06\/mai_2007_sprit_.html\">Kosten<\/a> f\u00c3\u00bcr das Autofahren sind im vergangenen Jahr st\u00c3\u00a4rker angestiegen als die allgemeinen Lebensunterhaltungskosten. Die Anschaffung sowie der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/2008\/01\/hohe-spritpre-1.html\">Unterhalt<\/a> eines <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dasautoblog.com\/2007\/12\/corvette-z06--a.html\">Autos<\/a> waren durchschnittlich 3,2 Prozent teurer als im Jahr davor. Sowohl der Preis f\u00c3\u00bcr \u00c3l als auch f\u00c3\u00bcr Benzin ist im direkten Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 4,1 Prozent gestiegen, hinzu kommt noch, dass Anfang 2007 die Mehrwertsteuer von 16 auf 19 Prozent angehoben wurde.
