Elle permet \u00e9galement de faire appel \u00e0 des s\u00e9curit\u00e9s passives de type convection naturelle, ce qui simplifie et fiabilise l&#039;ensemble. Dans le cadre de ses accords avec E-On pour de futurs d\u00e9veloppements britanniques, il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu qu&#039;E-On participerait \u00e0 la mise au point de ce nouveau r\u00e9acteur de 1250 MWe. Dans l&#039;accord, la participation de <strong><span>Siemens <\/span><\/strong>\u00e9tait mentionn\u00e9e, mais il n&#039;est pas s\u00fbr que cette participation \u00e9ventuelle soit toujours d&#039;actualit\u00e9.
