Mais ce chiffre n&rsquo;illustre pas la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de la forte chute des ventes au quatri\u00e8me trimestre (FIG.) qui sont retomb\u00e9es \u00e0 leur niveau de 2003. Formidable coup d&rsquo;accord\u00e9on apr\u00e8s un troisi\u00e8me trimestre miraculeusement stable qui laissait esp\u00e9rer que les industries du silicium \u00e9viteraient une large partie de la crise. Bien s\u00fbr, il n&rsquo;en a rien \u00e9t\u00e9.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/wafers2008t41.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"420\" alt=\"Wafers2008t4\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/wafers2008t4.jpg\" width=\"480\"  \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Cette chute des ventes de wafers entra\u00eene de formidables perturbations dans les cours du Silicium mono ou polycristallin, mat\u00e9riaux de base de leur fabrication. Les prix du silicium qui avaient atteint 350$\/kg \u00e0 la mi-2008 se n\u00e9gocient aujourd&rsquo;hui sur des accords de fournitures au long cours dans les 100$ \u00e0 130$\/kg. Mais le march\u00e9 spot est bien au dessous de ces prix l\u00e0. Les sp\u00e9cialistes du secteur parlent de prix spots du silicium polycristallin en 2009 entre 40$ et 60$ le kilogramme, avec une offre autour de 80 mille tonnes et une demande de l&rsquo;ordre de 54 mille tonnes. Compte tenu des investissements de production en cours de r\u00e9alisation, <u>l&rsquo;exc\u00e9dent de capacit\u00e9 de production devrait encore s&rsquo;accro\u00eetre en 2010<\/u>. C&rsquo;est donc une situation durable qui s&rsquo;installe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Le march\u00e9 du Silicium et des wafers conna\u00eet un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne classique de <u>retournement<\/u> qui de vendeur, le march\u00e9 devient acheteur. Alors qu&rsquo;auparavant tout le monde stockait par peur de p\u00e9nurie et d&rsquo;accroissement des prix, voila que tout le monde d\u00e9stocke et attend la future baisse des prix. Bien s\u00fbr les plus faibles dans ces p\u00e9riodes disparaissent, formidable processus de r\u00e9\u00e9quilibrage de march\u00e9s et d&rsquo;impitoyable s\u00e9lection. D&rsquo;apr\u00e8s les sp\u00e9cialistes ces disparitions pourraient se produire \u00e0 partir de 60$ pour un kilogramme de silicium.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Ces baisses de prix ont un c\u00f4t\u00e9 favorable: c&rsquo;est la croissance du march\u00e9 du photovolta\u00efque. Avec des prix du Watt qui vont d\u00e9finitivement passer en dessous de 2$ pour les modules, le march\u00e9 du photovolta\u00efque encourag\u00e9 par les mesures de relance devrait repartir franchement \u00e0 la hausse.
