Les travaux commenc\u00e9s il ya deux ans de cela en Mai 2009. Cette unit\u00e9 de 500 tonnes de CO2 par jour est capable de capter 90% des \u00e9missions de la centrale.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;Malgr\u00e9 sa taille modeste cette unit\u00e9 permet de d\u00e9montrer la ma\u00eetrise du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de capture du CO2 \u00e0 la sortie d&#039;une centrale au charbon. MHI affirme dans ce registre avoir en commande 10 unit\u00e9s de capture de CO2 \u00e0 la sortie de centrales au gaz naturel dont huit d&#039;entre elles sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en production.&#160;<\/p>\n<p>&#160;L&#039;industriel japonais fort de son exp\u00e9rience acquise dans les usines de production d&#039;ur\u00e9e se positionne comme un des leaders mondiaux dans le captage industriel du CO2. Alstom poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement une solide base technique dans le domaine mais <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alstom.com\/power\/news-and-events\/press-releases\/alstom-power-study-demonstrates-carbon-capture-storage-ccs-efficient-cost-competitive\/\" target=\"_blank\">n&#039;annonce des unit\u00e9s industrielles<\/a> que vers 2015.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451b18369e201538f5b5678970b-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Centrale-charbon-gaz\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e201538f5b5678970b\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e201538f5b5678970b-450wi.jpg\" style=\"width: 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#160;Rappelons que les \u00e9missions de CO2 des centrales au charbon d\u00e9pendent du rendement de la centrale et de la nature du charbon utilis\u00e9 (FIG.). Une centrale avec un rendement de 40% et utilisant un charbon \u00e0 4% d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e9met autour de 0,86 tonne de CO2 par MWh. Pour une centrale de 25 MW les \u00e9missions par jour sont donc de 0,86 x 25 x 24 = 516 Tonnes de CO2.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;Dans une centrale au gaz \u00e0 cycle combin\u00e9 de 60% de rendement les \u00e9missions de CO2 dues \u00e0 la combustion du gaz ne seront que de 0,33 tonne de CO2 par MWh, auquel il faut rajouter le CO2 initialement contenu dans le gaz naturel s&#039;il n&#039;est pas lui m\u00eame capt\u00e9. Ces simples consid\u00e9rations montrent qu&#039;il reviendra moins cher au MWh produit de d\u00e9carboner les gaz d&#039;une centrale au gaz que ceux d&#039;une centrale au charbon.
