Pour cela le Japon va r\u00e9activer toutes les centrales au charbon et pousser \u00e0 fond ses centrales au gaz naturel afin de pouvoir r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la pointe de puissance attendue cet \u00e9t\u00e9 pour faire marcher les pompes \u00e0 chaleur de conditionnement d&rsquo;air et de contr\u00f4le de l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 des locaux.<\/p>\n<p>Une approche int\u00e9ressante concernant la centrale au charbon de 1200MW de Noshiro repose sur la d\u00e9cision de Tohoku Electric Power d&rsquo;\u00e9quiper cette centrale d&rsquo;un ensemble de batteries Sodium-Soufre constitu\u00e9 de <span style=\"color: #0000bf;\"><strong>40 unit\u00e9s de 2MW<\/strong><\/span> NGK \u00e0 partir du mois de Janvier 2012. Cette solution permettra de stocker en six heures jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 480 MWh en heures creuses pour les revendre \u00e0 bon prix en heure de pointe.<\/p>\n<p>La technologie Sodium-Soufre faisant appel \u00e0 des mat\u00e9riaux largement disponibles et peu on\u00e9reux (sulfure de sodium, alumine, aluminium) est une des solutions \u00e9videntes de stockage d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie dans les batteries <span style=\"color: #0000bf;\"><strong>fixes<\/strong><\/span> en charge de la r\u00e9gulation des r\u00e9seaux ou d&rsquo;optimisation du fonctionnement des centrales sur des p\u00e9riodes de plusieurs heures. Paradoxalement cette technologie n&rsquo;est mise en \u0153uvre que par NGK au Japon ce qui tend \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer une encore tr\u00e8s faible compr\u00e9hension des possibilit\u00e9s de r\u00e9gulation des r\u00e9seaux par des batteries en tampon par les industriels. NGK affirme vouloir accro\u00eetre la puissance de ses batteries pour en r\u00e9duire la taille et le prix au Watt.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #bf00bf;\"><strong>Remarque pour les incr\u00e9dules:<\/strong><\/span> le classement des divers types de batteries en termes de co\u00fbts et de disponibilit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9raux de base r\u00e9alis\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment classe le couple Sodium-Soufre en N\u00b01 toutes cat\u00e9gories (TAB.). C&rsquo;est une \u00e9vidence! Du sulfure de sodium, de l&rsquo;aluminium, du carbone pour collecter le courant.
