Il travaille en collaboration \u00e9troite avec le fran\u00e7ais AREVA qui ensemble font s\u00fbrement l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe la plus avanc\u00e9e technologiquement au monde et esp\u00e9rons-le, une des futures \u00e9quipes leaders des centrales \u00e0 neutrons rapides. MHI est aussi associ\u00e9 \u00e0 COMEX Nucl\u00e9aire depuis 2002 pour tout ce qui touche aux probl\u00e8mes de maintenance des centrales nucl\u00e9aires EDF. Apr\u00e8s avoir ensemble remport\u00e9 un contrat de renouvellement de six g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs de vapeurs pour les centrales EDF en 2005, ils viennent de remporter un nouveau contrat pour six nouveaux g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs livrables en 2013 et 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Il faut savoir que ces \u00e9changeurs de chaleur entre le circuit primaire et le circuit secondaire sont des ensembles de 300 tonnes et de 21 m\u00e8tres de haut. Le corps de l&rsquo;\u00e9changeur qui doit r\u00e9sister \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau chaude sous pression fortement corrosive est en acier faiblement alli\u00e9 de mangan\u00e8se de molybd\u00e8ne et de nickel. Les 4000 tubes de l&rsquo;\u00e9changeur sont en Inconel TT690, thermiquement trait\u00e9, pour r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la corrosion fissurante de l&rsquo;eau chaude sous pression dans les parties sous contrainte m\u00e9canique (stress corrosion). C&rsquo;est une des pi\u00e8ces ma\u00eetresses de l&rsquo;ensemble qui conditionne l&rsquo;utilisation de temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es pour un rendement optimal de la centrale.
