Cette op\u00e9ration permettra de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de CO2 du Groupe de 5 millions de tonnes par an, ce qui correspond \u00e0 60% de son objectif de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions \u00e0 l&rsquo;horizon 2025 exig\u00e9 par l&rsquo;Etat de Floride. Progress Energy a acquis un terrain de 2000 hectares dans le comt\u00e9 de Levy. L&rsquo;investissement total n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 ce projet est estim\u00e9 \u00e0 <u>14 milliards de dollars<\/u> qui incluent le prix de base des deux tranches de 7,65 milliards de dollars, l&rsquo;achat du terrain, les frais financiers, les charges d&rsquo;uranium, les taxes li\u00e9es au projet. A ceci s&rsquo;ajoute des constructions de 320 km de lignes \u00e9lectriques \u00e9valu\u00e9es \u00e0 3 milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; L&rsquo;investissement global pour les deux tranches revient \u00e0 6,3 millions de dollars par MW install\u00e9. Pour un taux d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de 78%, soit 15 TWh par an, l&rsquo;investissement est donc de l&rsquo;ordre de 900 dollars par MWh annuel produit.
