Cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 commune (51% GS-Yuasa et 49% Honda) situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Kyoto, aura pour mission de produire des accumulateurs et des batteries Li-Ion pour de futurs v\u00e9hicules hybrides de Honda. Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments d&rsquo;accumulateurs produits seront au format EH6 prismatique de 6 Ah. La joint-venture aura pour mission d&rsquo;optimiser ce type d&rsquo;accumulateur ainsi que le syst\u00e8me batterie, par l&rsquo;utilisation de composants et de mat\u00e9riaux les mieux adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;application hybride qui demande \u00e0 la batterie d&rsquo;assurer de fortes pointes de puissance, en charge comme en d\u00e9charge et ceci quel que soit son \u00e9tat de charge.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Cette nouvelle orientation indique un d\u00e9sengagement net de Honda vis \u00e0 vis de Sanyo qui, on le sait, va rentrer dans le Groupe Panasonic. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9 GS-Yuasa poss\u00e8dera deux JV, l&rsquo;une avec Mitsubishi Motors et l&rsquo;autre avec Honda (FIG.).
