Le gaz naturel comprim\u00e9 est une source d&#039;\u00e9nergie de plus en plus utilis\u00e9e dans les transports urbains, la mont\u00e9e en puissance des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques va \u00e9galement permettre de s&#039;affranchir des d\u00e9riv\u00e9s du p\u00e9trole, les ersatz de carburants p\u00e9troliers comme le bio\u00e9thanol et le biodiesel prennent une part de plus en plus significative du march\u00e9 (l&#039;essence am\u00e9ricaine contenait en moyenne au mois de Mars 9,2% en volume d&#039;\u00e9thanol d\u00e9natur\u00e9). La d\u00e9marche de Volvo Trucks d&#039;utiliser des m\u00e9langes de gaz naturel ou autres biogaz et de gasoil comme carburants illustre parfaitement ce processus en marche.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;Volvo Trucks vient d&#039;annoncer qu&#039;il va commercialiser en 2011 une centaine de poids lourds \u00e0 longue autonomie (500 km avec un plein de GNL dans le r\u00e9servoir isotherme en illustration) aliment\u00e9s par un m\u00e9lange m\u00e9thane 75%, gasoil 25%. Dans un premier temps ces v\u00e9hicules rouleront en Su\u00e8de puis en Grande-Bretagne et aux Pays-Bas.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;Il y a dans ce genre d&#039;initiative une formidable opportunit\u00e9 pour les transporteurs routiers de s&#039;affranchir pour les trois-quarts de la contrainte des \u00e9volutions incessantes des prix \u00e0 la pompe des carburants.
