Au Salon de l&rsquo;Auto de Los Angeles, Hyundai a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 sa vision de l&rsquo;architecture du v\u00e9hicule hybride qui \u00e9quipera le futur mod\u00e8le de la Sonata, pr\u00e9vue pour \u00eatre commercialis\u00e9e aux Etats-Unis en 2010 (FIG.). Son choix repose sur un syst\u00e8me hybride mont\u00e9 <u>en parall\u00e8le<\/u> et dont la principale originalit\u00e9 repose sur une batterie de type <u>Lithium-Ion polym\u00e8re<\/u>, (5,3 Ah, 270V), d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par le cor\u00e9en LG. Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de cette batterie sont constitu\u00e9s d&rsquo;une enveloppe \u00e9tanche thermo scell\u00e9e et comportent un \u00e9lectrolyte g\u00e9lifi\u00e9 contenant du LiPF6. L&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode positive est \u00e0 base de LiMn2O4, l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode n\u00e9gative comporte du carbone amorphe qui va accueillir le Lithium m\u00e9tallique form\u00e9 durant la charge. Le s\u00e9parateur, \u00e0 s\u00e9curit\u00e9 renforc\u00e9e, comporte des nanoparticules de c\u00e9ramique qui pr\u00e9vient tout court-circuit interne et pr\u00e9sente une excellente r\u00e9sistance aux temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eames, emp\u00eachant ainsi tout emballement thermique de la batterie. D&rsquo;apr\u00e8s le constructeur cette batterie est con\u00e7ue pour une dur\u00e9e de vie du v\u00e9hicule de dix ans et de 240 mille kilom\u00e8tres (150 mille miles).
