Kyocera dispose d&rsquo;une technologie avanc\u00e9e dite back-contact qui reporte \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re de la cellule photovolta\u00efque les deux polarit\u00e9s \u00e0 connecter et accro\u00eet ainsi la surface de module irradi\u00e9e. Cette Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 revendique un rendement de conversion de ses cellules de 18,5%. Elle vient de faire conna\u00eetre sa d\u00e9cision de lancer d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but 2009 la construction d&rsquo;une nouvelle usine \u00e0 Yasu dans la Pr\u00e9fecture de Shiga, qui lui permettra au printemps 2010 de pouvoir doubler sa capacit\u00e9 de production et atteindre les<u> 650 MW en 2012<\/u>. A partir d&rsquo;achat de Silicium, Kyocera dispose d&rsquo;une production totalement int\u00e9gr\u00e9e, jusqu&rsquo;au module pr\u00eat \u00e0 \u00eatre install\u00e9 dans la nature.
