Elles s\u00e9taient r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9es stables jusque l\u00e0 durant des ann\u00e9es, mais depuis 2007 elles sont reparties \u00e0 la hausse. Le m\u00e9thane issu des marais, des rizi\u00e8res, du permafrost qui se d\u00e9g\u00eale, des animaux, de l&rsquo;exploitation du gaz naturel et du charbon, est d\u00e9grad\u00e9 dans la troposph\u00e8re par les radicaux hydroxyles (OH\u00b0). IL semblait donc exister un \u00e9quilibre entre l&rsquo;apport de m\u00e9thane et sa d\u00e9gradation par les radicaux hydroxyles.
