Cette technologie retrouve de l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat en la couplant avec un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 Fischer-Tropsch de synth\u00e8se de carburant liquide. La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 australienne Linc Energy, dans son usine de Chinchilla, vient de d\u00e9marrer une usine pilote de production de carburants liquides \u00e0 partir de syngas obtenu par gaz\u00e9ification souterraine (underground coal gasification ou UCG). Linc aurait l&rsquo;intention de d\u00e9marrer la construction d&rsquo;une unit\u00e9 de production industrielle dans un an environ.
