Il a en particulier d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des s\u00e9parateurs pour accumulateurs Li-Ion \u00e0 solidit\u00e9 accr\u00fbe, \u00e0 r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissement r\u00e9duit et \u00e0 tenue \u00e0 plus hautes temp\u00e9ratures, pour les applications v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. Dans le cadre du formidable d\u00e9veloppement du march\u00e9 de ces batteries pour v\u00e9hicules hybrides rechargeables ou 100% \u00e9lectriques, Tonen a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de construire une nouvelle usine de production dans la ville de Gumi en Cor\u00e9e du Sud. Cette unit\u00e9 aura une capacit\u00e9 de production de 30 millions de m2 par an.
