Ce produit qui p\u00e8se 25 kg et pr\u00e9sente un volume de 13 litres est assembl\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ments Li-Ion cylindriques Johnson Controls-Saft produits en France. Sur la base estim\u00e9e d&rsquo;une caract\u00e9ristique standard de 100 Wh\/kg et de 200 Wh\/litre ce produit doit pouvoir stocker aux environs de 2,5 kWh d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique. Ce chiffre est coh\u00e9rent avec une estimation d&rsquo;un assemblage en s\u00e9rie de 35 accumulateurs d&rsquo;une vingtaine d&rsquo;Ah chacun. Continental affirme que ce produit doit pr\u00e9senter une <u>dur\u00e9e de vie de 10 ans ou de 160 mille \u00e0 240 mille kilom\u00e8tres.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments sont connect\u00e9s entre eux par soudure de barres de cuivre qui permettent de minimiser les chutes de tensions et les \u00e9chauffements lors des appels de pointes de courant (acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration, freinage brusque). Le bo\u00eetier en acier inoxydable est soud\u00e9 au laser. Une \u00e9lectronique sophistiqu\u00e9e permet de contr\u00f4ler chacun des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de la batterie et d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrer leur niveau de charge individuel (&quot;balancing&quot;) afin d&rsquo;\u00e9viter les surcharges intempestives de certains.
