En effet une batterie de 16 kWh constitu\u00e9e de 88 \u00e9l\u00e9ments d&rsquo;accumulateur de 50Ah (exemple de la i-MIEV) comportera dans les 30 kg de mati\u00e8re \u00e9lectroactive. Parmi les mat\u00e9riaux possibles il faut donc proscrire le LiCoO2 tr\u00e8s utilis\u00e9 dans les petites batteries, il faut \u00e9viter le LiNiO2 lui aussi trop cher, on pourra accepter le LiMn2O4 en raison du faible co\u00fbt du Mangan\u00e8se mais le mat\u00e9riau id\u00e9al, d&rsquo;un point de vue \u00e9conomique, serait sans nul doute le LiFePO4 (phosphate de Fer lithi\u00e9). Mais ce produit pr\u00e9sente la d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de pr\u00e9senter un vieillissement intempestif en charge et en d\u00e9charges rapides qui sont les r\u00e9gimes \u00e9lectriques privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s lors d&rsquo;un freinage avec forte r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie ou d&rsquo;une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration subite d&rsquo;un v\u00e9hicule. Bien s\u00fbr tout est dans le tour de main pour enrober chacune des nanoparticules au bon moment de leur croissance, avant qu&rsquo;elles ne s&rsquo;agr\u00e8gent entre elles et de carboniser le d\u00e9p\u00f4t organique \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature suffisamment basse pour \u00e9viter le grossissement des grains. Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 doit \u00eatre tr\u00e8s pointu.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Ce rev\u00eatement poreux de carbone (loupe de la Figure b) permet de r\u00e9duire la distance de d\u00e9placement des ions Li+ au sein du cristal et s&rsquo;affranchit \u00e9galement de la faible conductivit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique de ce produit.
