La technologie de capture du CO2 la plus avanc\u00e9e aujourd&rsquo;hui est mise en oeuvre dans les usines de production d&rsquo;ur\u00e9e qui captent le CO2, lors de la production d&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne, n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration de l&rsquo;ammoniac (NH3) qui r\u00e9agit ensuite avec le CO2 pour former l&rsquo;ur\u00e9e [O=C(NH2)2]. L&rsquo;ur\u00e9e est largement utilis\u00e9e dans le monde comme engrais azot\u00e9. Le Groupe norv\u00e9gien Gassnova vient de confier \u00e0 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) une pr\u00e9 \u00e9tude technique d&rsquo;une unit\u00e9 de capture de CO2 pour sa centrale \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 gaz naturel de 420 MW situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Karsto, sur la c\u00f4te Sud Ouest de la Norv\u00e8ge. A la suite de cette \u00e9tude un appel d&rsquo;offre pour la r\u00e9alisation d&rsquo;une unit\u00e9 de capture du CO2 (3000 tonnes par an) sera r\u00e9alis\u00e9. Ce projet est environ 10 fois sup\u00e9rieur par sa taille, \u00e0 ce que MHI sait faire pour les usines de production d&rsquo;ur\u00e9e.
