Cet \u00e9quipement int\u00e9gr\u00e9, appel\u00e9 Ene-Farm (&quot;ferme \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique&quot;), aliment\u00e9 au gaz naturel, repose sur la production par reforming et la purification d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne alimentant une pile \u00e0 combustible qui fournit \u00e0 la fois de l&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de l&#039;eau chaude. L&#039;ensemble fournit l&#039;eau chaude au foyer et, apr\u00e8s conversion, fournit en parall\u00e8le avec le r\u00e9seau local de l&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 domestique. Apr\u00e8s avoir vendu 5000 exemplaires de cet ensemble, Panasonic annonce une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de cet \u00e9quipement plus compacte, moins on\u00e9reuse, \u00e0 dur\u00e9e de vie am\u00e9lior\u00e9e (10 ans) et \u00e0 rendement \u00e9lectrique am\u00e9lior\u00e9. L&#039;ensemble est propos\u00e9 \u00e0 2,76 millions de yens (24 500 euros) pose non comprise. On est encore dans l&#039;\u00e9cologie haut de gamme mettant en \u0153uvre des \u00e9quipements d&#039;une tr\u00e8s grande complexit\u00e9. Malgr\u00e9 tout, Panasonic se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 pouvoir en produire plus de 6000 exemplaires par an.<\/p>\n<p>Pour porter un jugement \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s pertinent sur ce type d&#039;\u00e9quipement il faut savoir qu&#039;une pile \u00e0 combustible initialement con\u00e7ue pour fournir de l&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est majoritairement une source de chaleur en raison de son m\u00e9diocre rendement.
