L&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de compte de capacit\u00e9 de production industrielle dans l&rsquo;industrie photovolta\u00efque va donc devenir assez rapidement le gigawatt. Pour l&rsquo;instant Sanyo qui avait une capacit\u00e9 de production de 260 MW \u00e0 la fin du mois de Mars 2008 a planifi\u00e9 d&rsquo;atteindre 600 MW \u00e0 la fin du mois de Mars 2011. L&rsquo;usine de Shiga capable de produire 40MW de cellules fait partie de ce plan d&rsquo;accroissement qui devrait atteindre une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape de 340MW \u00e0 fin Mars 2009.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Tetsuhiro Maeda, le patron de la division solaire de Sanyo, affirme vouloir porter la capacit\u00e9 de production de Sanyo \u00e0 4 GW en 2020, la moiti\u00e9 en technologie Silicium et l&rsquo;autre moiti\u00e9 en technologie couches minces pour atteindre 10% de part de March\u00e9 mondial. Les possibilit\u00e9s d&rsquo;\u00e9volution de ce march\u00e9 sont gigantesques parce que les progr\u00e8s technologiques possibles sont \u00e9normes. C&rsquo;est la grande diff\u00e9rence entre l&rsquo;\u00e9olien quasiment au bout du rouleau technologique et le photovolta\u00efque dont les progr\u00e8s attendus sont consid\u00e9rables.
