Cette unit\u00e9 produira \u00e0 partir de Mars 2009 des \u00e9lectrodes destin\u00e9es aux&nbsp; batteries pour v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques ou hybrides rechargeables. Hitachi Maxell a \u00e9galement inform\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il avait l&rsquo;intention d&rsquo;utiliser un nouveau type de s\u00e9parateur plus r\u00e9sistant et physiquement plus stable \u00e0 hautes temp\u00e9ratures. Cette am\u00e9lioration est obtenue par un rev\u00eatement inorganique du s\u00e9parateur, ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de retrait \u00e0 hautes temp\u00e9ratures et donc d&rsquo;accro\u00eetre la fiabilit\u00e9 et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des batteries.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Hitachi Maxell a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 par General Motors comme son fournisseur privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 de batteries, mais les deux partenaires n&rsquo;ont pas encore franchi le pas d&rsquo;installer une unit\u00e9 de production de ce composant strat\u00e9gique en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.
