Pour ce tr\u00e8s grand de l&rsquo;a\u00e9ronautique, contrairement \u00e0 l&rsquo;opinion \u00e9clair\u00e9e de certains sympathiques intervenants sur ce blog, le nombre de passagers devrait poursuivre une croissance de <span style=\"color: #3300cc\"><strong>4% par an. E<\/strong><\/span>n raison d&rsquo;une meilleure capacit\u00e9 d&#8217;emport des a\u00e9roplanes, le nombre d&rsquo;avions en service devrait cro\u00eetre de <span style=\"color: #3300cc\"><strong>3,2% par an<\/strong> <\/span>(FIG.). L&rsquo;allongement moyen des trajets devrait faire cro\u00eetre le trafic a\u00e9rien, mesur\u00e9 en passagers x kilom\u00e8tres, de 5% par an (Airbus avait pr\u00e9vu 4,9%). Celui du transport de marchandise exprim\u00e9 en tonne x kilom\u00e8tres devrait pour sa part, cro\u00eetre de 5,8% par an qui est la valeur pr\u00e9vue \u00e9galement par Airbus. En raison des contraintes environnementales Boeing pronostique une forte r\u00e9duction de la part des petits avions r\u00e9gionaux, au profit d&rsquo;avions mono couloirs plus \u00e9conomes en carburant par passager x kilom\u00e8tre. Elles sont tr\u00e8s divergentes de celles d&rsquo;Airbus sur la part des tr\u00e8s gros porteurs, signe d&rsquo;un manque de sensibilit\u00e9 du Marketing am\u00e9ricain aux probl\u00e8mes d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et de r\u00e9chauffement climatique dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir.
