L&rsquo;exemple le plus r\u00e9cent est celle de l&rsquo;IEA, portant sur la mise en exploitation de l&rsquo;Artic Natural Wildlife Reserve (ANWR) en <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/lalaska-nen-est.html_.png\">Alaska<\/a> qui permettrait de porter les productions US de 5,1 millions de barils\/jour aujourd&rsquo;hui \u00e0 6,8 millions de barils\/jour en 2025 et 6,3 millions en 2030. Mais cette \u00e9tude pr\u00e9suppose toujours des consommations globales en croissance de 20,7 millions de barils\/jour en 2006 \u00e0 23 millions en 2030 (FIG.)<a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2008\/05\/24\/anwr2008.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"407\" alt=\"Anwr2008\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/anwr2008.jpg\" width=\"480\"  \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9ressant que l&rsquo;IEA, par ces temps de prix fous du p\u00e9trole, publie quelques sc\u00e9narios comportant des hypoth\u00e8ses de baisse de consommation. Elle ne doit pas en avoir encore le droit et c&rsquo;est bien dommage. Alors, je propose de superposer \u00e0 cette \u00e9tude un sc\u00e9nario probable de baisse des consommations US en produits p\u00e9troliers, bas\u00e9 sur quelques hypoth\u00e8ses simples et dont l&rsquo;occurrence semble hautement probable. C&rsquo;est le &quot;Sc\u00e9nario Vertueux&quot;:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>la consommation d&rsquo;essence du <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/le-mit-essaie-d.html_.png\">parc automobile<\/a> am\u00e9ricain sera <u>r\u00e9duite de moiti\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;horizon 2030<\/u> par la r\u00e9duction des masses des v\u00e9hicules, la mont\u00e9e des versions hybrides ou 100% \u00e9lectriques,<\/li>\n<li>le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogenergie.com\/2008\/05\/la-viscosit-de.html\">chauffage des foyers<\/a> am\u00e9ricains n&rsquo;utilisera plus le fuel en 2030,<\/li>\n<li>le trafic routier des poids lourds sera moins consommateur en carburant en raison de l&rsquo;optimisation de l&rsquo;a\u00e9rodynamisme des poids lourds, de l&rsquo;adoption de pneumatiques \u00e0 faible r\u00e9sistance au frottement, \u00e0 la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie au freinage et des gaz d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement, \u00e0 l&rsquo;optimisation du r\u00e9seau par la r\u00e9duction des bouchons \u00e0 l&rsquo;approche des grandes agglom\u00e9rations, etc.<\/li>\n<li>le trafic a\u00e9ronautique aura largement modernis\u00e9 son parc d&rsquo;avions, pour atteindre une consommation de 3 litres de k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne aux 100km x passager (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogenergie.com\/2008\/04\/airbus-il-faudr.html\">\u00e9tude Airbus<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;L&rsquo;ensemble de ces actions peut permettre de faire \u00e9conomiser entre 5 et 6 millions de barils par jour aux USA. Ceci donne l&rsquo;opportunit\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire les consommations globales US \u00e0 18 millions de barils\/jour en 2020, 16 millions en 2025 et 15 millions en 2030 (FIG.II)<a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2008\/05\/24\/anwr20081.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"438\" alt=\"Anwr20081\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/anwr20081.jpg\" width=\"480\"  \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Bien entendu ces baisses de consommations se r\u00e9percutent directement par des baisses d&rsquo;importations de p\u00e9trole et\/ou de produits p\u00e9troliers. Le rapport entre produits import\u00e9s et produits consomm\u00e9s passe de 60% en 2006 \u00e0 25% en 2030 (FIG.III). La valeur absolue des importations passerait de 12,4 millions de barils\/jour en 2006 \u00e0 3,7 millions de barils\/jour en 2030.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/anwr200821.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"363\" alt=\"Anwr20082\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/anwr20082.jpg\" width=\"480\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ce sc\u00e9nario peut passer pour na\u00efvement optimiste. C&rsquo;est pourtant ce type d&rsquo;actions compl\u00e9mentaires qui permettra d&rsquo;atteindre une meilleure r\u00e9partition des ressources \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques dans le monde sans alt\u00e9rer de quelque fa\u00e7on que ce soit les charmes de l&quot;&rsquo;american way of life&quot; sinon en lui \u00f4tant cette part aga\u00e7ante de gaspillage.
