Mais les premiers r\u00e9acteurs de cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration ne seront pas disponibles au niveau commercial avant 2040 ou 2045 selon le CEA, ne l&rsquo;oublions pas. Entre temps, la production d&rsquo;uranium aura bien entam\u00e9 son d\u00e9clin, apr\u00e8s un peak uranium vers 2025 pour les plus r\u00e9alistes, cinq ans plus tard pour les incorrigibles optimistes. En cons\u00e9quence logique, une partie des r\u00e9acteurs classiques devront s&rsquo;arr\u00eater, n&rsquo;ayant plus de combustible pour fonctionner.
