Dans ce projet de 341 \u00e9oliennes qui devrait g\u00e9n\u00e9rer, quand il y aura du vent, 1000 MW de puissance \u00e9lectrique, figurent en partenariat avec Shell, l&rsquo;allemand E-On et un danois d&rsquo;\u00e9tat Dong Energy. Ce projet, initialement \u00e9valu\u00e9 \u00e0 3 milliards de dollars d&rsquo;investissements, pourrait aujourd&rsquo;hui co\u00fbter le double. De plus les incitations gouvernementales de Grande Bretagne ne seraient pas \u00e0 la hauteur des esp\u00e9rances des chasseurs de primes \u00e9oliens. Shell aurait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il pr\u00e9f\u00e9rait aller investir dans l&rsquo;\u00e9olien aux USA o\u00f9 les conditions financi\u00e8res \u00e9taient plus avantageuses.
