Cette plateforme offshore, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 250 km des c\u00f4tes norv\u00e9giennes, capture chaque jour \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 mettant en oeuvre des solvants amin\u00e9s,  2800 tonnes de CO2 provenant du gisement de gaz de Sleipner, gaz qui contient 9% de CO2. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; StatoilHydro a acquis une r\u00e9elle exp\u00e9rience dans la mise en oeuvre de ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 avant-gardiste qui capture un million de tonnes de CO2 par an, soit 3% des \u00e9missions de la Norv\u00e8ge ou un milli\u00e8me des <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogenergie.com\/2008\/04\/allemagne-2007.html\">\u00e9missions de l&rsquo;Allemagne<\/a>. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 motiv\u00e9e dans cette voie par l&rsquo;instauration d&rsquo;une taxe gouvernementale de 50$\/tonne de CO2 \u00e9mise lors de l&rsquo;exploitation de gaz.
