Cette valorisation provient essentiellement de la demande croissante de deux grands consommateurs de charbon en Asie: l&#039;Inde et la Chine. L&#039;Inde poss\u00e8de d&#039;immenses ressources de charbon dans son sous-sol, mais elle ne sait pas l&#039;acheminer dans ses vastes territoires. Des centrales \u00e9lectriques indiennes, situ\u00e9es dans les ports, sont aliment\u00e9es de ce fait par du charbon australien, sud-africain ou indon\u00e9sien. Quand \u00e0 la Chine, sa boulimie \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique n&#039;est plus \u00e0 d\u00e9crire. Tout est bon pour br\u00fbler du charbon dans ce pays. Un exemple: la Province de Guizhou vient d&#039;obtenir le feu vert de la part de la puissante National Energy Administration communiste pour planifier la r\u00e9alisation d&#039;une unit\u00e9 de transformation du type coal-to-liquid (CTL) d&#039;ici \u00e0 2015. Cette unit\u00e9 qui produira annuellement 5 millions de tonnes de produits types p\u00e9troliers (dans les 100 mille barils par jour) \u00e0 <span style=\"color: #0000bf\"><strong>partir d&#039;un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 chinois <\/strong><\/span>valid\u00e9 sur une unit\u00e9 pilote de 0,16 million de tonnes implant\u00e9e \u00e0 Yiatai en Mongolie Int\u00e9rieure. Pendant ce temps le chinois Shenhua qui voudrait installer une unit\u00e9 de 80 mille barils\/jour et \u00e9quip\u00e9e de CCS, avec le sud-africain Sasol, attendra son tour&#8230;pas assez chinois.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e20134898c3f8b970c-pi.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Charbon-newcastle\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e20134898c3f8b970c\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e20134898c3f8b970c-450wi.jpg\" style=\"width: 450px\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&#160;Alors les autorit\u00e9s administratives chinoises pr\u00e9voient que la consommation de charbon dans leur pays atteindra les <span style=\"color: #0000bf\"><strong>3,8 milliards de tonnes en 2015<\/strong><\/span> pour une estimation \u00e0 3,15 milliards en 2009 (EIA). La combustion de ce charbon conduira \u00e0 des \u00e9missions de CO2 de l&#039;ordre de 8 milliards de tonnes (sur la base de 2,1 tonnes de CO2\/tonne de charbon). Si l&#039;on ajoute \u00e0 ces \u00e9missions 2 milliards de tonnes venant de la combustion des produits p\u00e9troliers (un doublement en 7 ans soit +10% par an) et 0,5 milliard de tonnes provenant de la combustion de gaz naturel, <span style=\"color: #0000bf\"><strong>il est possible de pronostiquer pour 2015 des \u00e9missions de CO2 chinoises qui d\u00e9passeront gaillardement les 10 milliards de tonnes<\/strong><\/span>.
