Ils reposent sur un maillage du territoire \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une <strong><span style=\"color: #3300cc\">maille de 10X10 km<\/span><\/strong>. Les relev\u00e9s horaires \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de chaque maille sont informatiquement affect\u00e9s \u00e0 des sources de CO2 identifi\u00e9es: centrale \u00e9lectrique, usine, agglom\u00e9ration, autoroute, etc. Ces traitements informatiques permettent de publier diverses cartes d\u00e9taill\u00e9es du territoire am\u00e9ricain. La premi\u00e8re carte est l&rsquo;image des \u00e9missions annuelles totales de CO2 de chaque maille en logarithme des quantit\u00e9s exprim\u00e9es en tonnes de CO2.
