Chaque unit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une puissance pouvant atteindre plus de 26 kW, avec un rendement de 31%, est contitu\u00e9e d&rsquo;un disque r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissant de plusieurs dizaines de m2 de surface constitu\u00e9 de 82 miroirs. Au point focal est positionn\u00e9 un capteur thermique qui transmet l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie \u00e0 un moteur Stirling. Le moteur est un syst\u00e8me \u00e9tanche <u>rempli d&rsquo;Hydrog\u00e8ne<\/u>. La dilatation de l&rsquo;Hydrog\u00e8ne dans la partie chaude et sa contraction dans une partie froide assurent la rotation du moteur qui est coupl\u00e9 avec un g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; On le voit cette solution parait \u00e9l\u00e9gante et relativement simple. Comme avantages majeurs on peut noter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>la modularit\u00e9 et s\u00fbrement la fiabilit\u00e9,<\/li>\n<li>l&rsquo;absence de fluide caloporteur et d&rsquo;\u00e9changeurs de chaleur complexes,<\/li>\n<li>un bon rendement par rapport \u00e0 la surface des miroirs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Comme inconv\u00e9nients on peut retenir les points suivants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>une emprise au sol importante qui entra\u00eene une puissance de moins de 100W au m2,<\/li>\n<li>une inertie thermique quasi nulle, le moindre nuage fait instantan\u00e9ment baisser la puissance,<\/li>\n<li>une multiplicit\u00e9 de dispositifs m\u00e9caniques et \u00e9lectriques d&rsquo;orientation de chacun des disques (Fig.).<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/stirling_dish11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"187\" alt=\"Stirling_dish1\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/stirling_dish1.jpg\" width=\"250\"  \/><\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; La rentabilit\u00e9 compte tenu des cours actuels de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 n&rsquo;est pas \u00e9vidente, m\u00eame en plein d\u00e9sert californien. Un calcul \u00e0 120$ le MWh, soit 80 euros, conduit pour 10 heures d&rsquo;\u00e9clairement et une puissance nominale de 25 kW, \u00e0 un Chiffre d&rsquo;Affaire journalier par disque de 30$ soit 20 euros. Avec une efficacit\u00e9 annuelle de 90% (en plein d\u00e9sert) on arrive \u00e0 un chiffre d&rsquo;affaire annuel de $10,000&nbsp; ou 6500 euros par disque. L&rsquo;investissement en petite s\u00e9rie est de $150,000 par disque, en grande s\u00e9rie on pourra le faire descendre \u00e0 $70,000.
