Cette compagnie a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2004 par regroupement des activit\u00e9s dans ce domaine de Hitachi, Shin Kobe et Hitachi Maxwell pour d\u00e9velopper et industrialiser les batteries pour v\u00e9hicules hybrides et autres applications. HVE va produire pour General Motors une batterie de type Lithium-Ion dont l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode positive est \u00e0 base d&rsquo;un oxyde de Mn, Ni et Co en couches qui est un produit relativement r\u00e9cent (Brevet Mitsubihi Chemical 2004), performant en d\u00e9charge rapide et l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrode n\u00e9gative est \u00e0 base d&rsquo;un graphite \u00e9labor\u00e9 par Hitachi Chemical.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;La puissante maison m\u00e8re, Hitachi, assure vouloir investir massivement dans ce secteur des syst\u00e8mes batteries pour v\u00e9hicules hybrides dont elle estime le <span style=\"color: #333333\"><u>march\u00e9 \u00e0 1,5 millions en 2010<\/u> <\/span>et pr\u00e9voit la g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation des batteries au Lithium-Ion en 2015 en remplacement du Ni-MH.
