C&rsquo;est un prototype \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un moteur 1,2 l trois cylindre TDI diesel coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 un moteur \u00e9lectrique de 20 kW pr\u00e9sentant un couple de 20Nm. Il ne consommerait que <u>3,4 litres de gazole aux 100 km<\/u> et donc \u00e9mettrait autour de 90 g de CO2 au kilom\u00e8tre. Ce concept-car est cependant encore \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;une <span style=\"color: #333333\"><u>batterie de 45 kg de type Ni-MH<\/u> <\/span>haute tension 220V et pr\u00e9sentant une \u00e9nergie de 1400 Wh, soit une capacit\u00e9 autour des 6,5 Ah. La solution \u00e9lectrique est donc tr\u00e8s voisine de celle de la vieille solution Prius de Toyota.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Le fait que Wolkswagen n&rsquo;ait pas propos\u00e9 de batterie de type Lithium-Ion qui aurait pes\u00e9 50% de moins montre le retard pris par les fabricants de voitures europ\u00e9ens sur leurs homologues japonais. En particulier, pour ce qui concerne les <u><span style=\"color: #333333\">syst\u00e8mes batteries<\/span><\/u>, \u00e9l\u00e9ments fondamentaux pour tout d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux mod\u00e8les de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9conomes en \u00e9nergie. Cet \u00e9tat de fait qui peut mettre en danger \u00e0 moyen terme, la sant\u00e9 de ces entreprises incapables d&rsquo;offrir les produits les plus avanc\u00e9s, provient d&rsquo;une sous estimation des difficult\u00e9s technologiques \u00e0 surmonter dans le d\u00e9veloppement d&rsquo;un v\u00e9hicule hybride, d&rsquo;une perte de ressources dans des \u00e9tudes fumeuses sur les PAC du prochain mill\u00e9naire, de la disparition de Varta qui en association avec SAFT aurait pu constituer un vrai p\u00f4le de batteries industrielles europ\u00e9en. <span style=\"color: #333333\"><u>Rattraper le retard<\/u>&nbsp; cumul\u00e9 <\/span>va \u00eatre le vrai challenge des constructeurs europ\u00e9ens d&rsquo;automobiles.
