La Chine est un gros producteur d&rsquo;Aluminium mondial. En 2006, avec 9 millions de tonnes, elle produisait 27% des besoins mondiaux qui s\u00e9levaient \u00e0 34 millions de tonnes. L&rsquo;Afrique du Sud doit , pour sa part, produire dans les 1,5 millions de tonnes de ce m\u00e9tal. Alors les cours de l&rsquo;Aluminium ont pris plus de 400$ la tonne en quatre semaines (FIG.).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Il est raisonnable de penser qu&rsquo;avec la mont\u00e9e des cours des sources d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie primaire (Charbon, gaz, p\u00e9trole), des droits d&rsquo;\u00e9missions de CO2 et donc des tarifs \u00e9lectriques, associ\u00e9e aux contraintes \u00e9cologiques sur les \u00e9missions de produits fluor\u00e9s de cette industrie \u00e9lectrochimique polluante, les cours de l&rsquo;Aluminium ne peuvent que se valoriser. La demande pour l&rsquo;industrie a\u00e9ronautique et surtout automobile qui devra all\u00e9ger ses v\u00e9hicules pour qu&rsquo;ils consomment moins, ne faiblira pas, m\u00eame si les cours devaient doubler dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Parmi les m\u00e9taux non ferreux seul le Zinc (2.45$\/kg) est moins cher que l&rsquo;Aluminium. Les autres sont&nbsp; plus chers tels le Plomb (3.2$\/kg), le Cuivre (8$\/kg) ou beaucoup plus chers tel l&rsquo;Etain (17$\/kg) ou le Nickel ( 28$\/kg). <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; Cette valorisation des m\u00e9taux non ferreux est \u00e0 mettre en perspective avec les grandes manoeuvres de concentration des industries concern\u00e9es qu&rsquo;on peut r\u00e9sumer ainsi : le chinois Chinalco et l&rsquo;am\u00e9ricain Alcoa ach\u00e8tent une participation de 12% dans Rio-Tinto (qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 achet\u00e9 le canadien Alcan) pour contrer l&rsquo;OPA de BHP Billiton sur Rio.
