Elle a revu depuis, les chiffres 2008 \u00e0 la baisse entre 3.5 mds$ et 4.5 mds$.  Ces chiffres sont ridicules mis en vis \u00e0 vis des capitaux investis et des heures de travail r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans le monde, mais ce sont les ratios ingrats du transport a\u00e9rien. Rappelons que cette activit\u00e9 a perdu 35 milliards de dollars en cinq ans entre 2001 et 2005. La partie US devrait d\u00e9gager en 2008 comme en 2007, 2.2 milliards de dollars de profits. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Cette r\u00e9sistance des r\u00e9sultats am\u00e9ricains, et s\u00fbrement mondiaux, malgr\u00e9 l&rsquo;accroissement des co\u00fbts de carburants *, qui repr\u00e9sentent 30% des d\u00e9penses, a plusieurs causes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration du trafic en nombre de passagers et en coefficient de remplissage. Delta Airlines par exemple signale un accroissement des passagers de 4.6% en D\u00e9cembre et une am\u00e9lioration du coefficient de remplissage de 2.2 points \u00e0 81%. Southwest annonce +4% pour le nombre de passagers et -0.5 points pour le remplissage \u00e0 68.2%. Pour l&rsquo;ensemble de 2007 aux Etats Unis on attend une croissance du <u>nombre de passagers de 2.3%<\/u> et une am\u00e9lioration du coefficient de remplissage de 0.7 points \u00e0 <u>80.6%<\/u>.<\/li>\n<li>la part croissante des transports en classe affaire (business class) tir\u00e9e par le d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie mondiale et des \u00e9changes internationaux,<\/li>\n<li>les \u00e9conomies de carburant gr\u00e2ce aux avions plus modernes et l&rsquo;arr\u00eat des lignes d\u00e9ficitaires. Malgr\u00e9 l&rsquo;accroissement du trafic la consommation de k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne am\u00e9ricain est rest\u00e9e stable en 2007 aux environs de 1630 millions de barils par jour, soit 8% environ de la consommation totale US en produits p\u00e9troliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ces chiffres d&rsquo;une Am\u00e9rique &quot;a\u00e9ronautiquement&quot; convalescente n&rsquo;ont rien avoir avec ceux des compagnies chinoises comme China Southern Airlines qui voit son trafic passager cro\u00eetre de 15% en un an.<\/p>\n<p>* Remarque: les co\u00fbts du k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne d\u00e9pendent bien s\u00fbr des cours du p\u00e9trole et de la marge de raffinage r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur ce k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne (&quot;jet fuel crack spread&quot;). Or ce &quot;crack spread&quot; a tendance \u00e0 cro\u00eetre. Il \u00e9tait de 16.6$ par baril en 2006, il a atteint 18.6$ en 2007.
