Cette unit\u00e9 de production date de 1991, elle m\u00e9rite donc de voir arriver de nouvelles r\u00e9alisations dans un pays ou la surface au sol inutilis\u00e9e et les rayonnements solaires sont abondants et gratuits. La &quot;California Energy Commission&quot; a examin\u00e9 et qualifi\u00e9 derni\u00e8rement plusieurs projets solaires thermiques de 400MW et 177MW. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;  Le premier \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par BrightSource Energy. C&rsquo;est un projet d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie thermique solaire de 400MW qui serait implant\u00e9 \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re avec le Nevada, dans le d\u00e9sert de Mojave.<a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2008\/01\/04\/brightsource.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"208\" alt=\"Brightsource\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/brightsource.jpg\" width=\"250\"  \/><\/a>&nbsp; Constitu\u00e9 de trois usines s\u00e9par\u00e9es,deux usines g\u00e9n\u00e8reraient 100MW et la troisi\u00e8me 200MW, les travaux pourraient commencer en d\u00e9but 2009. La technologie utilis\u00e9e serait classique par concentration des rayons solaires en haut d&rsquo;une tour, \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;un capteur de chaleur \u00e0 eau sous pression. Brigth Source est actuellement en cours de d\u00e9veloppement d&rsquo;un pilote industriel de 7MW en Isra\u00ebl, g\u00e9r\u00e9 par sa filiale LuzII. Ce projet illustre les limites technologiques de ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 par concentration des rayons solaires sur un point fixe. L&rsquo;artiste qui a dessin\u00e9 le projet devait \u00eatre bien renseign\u00e9 puisqu&rsquo;il a fait figurer trois tours pour deux unit\u00e9s et quatre tours pour l&rsquo;autre. Cela veut dire que le premier chantier d\u00e9livrera une puissance de 33 MW par tour et le dernier 50 MW par tour. A partir d&rsquo;un rendement de 150W\/m2 qui est celui des unit\u00e9s espagnoles on arrive \u00e0 une surface de 22 hectares de miroirs h\u00e9liostats pour 33 MW de puissance, ce qui repr\u00e9sente un arc de cercle de 240\u00b0 et de rayon de 350 \u00e0 400 m\u00e8tres environ. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Le deuxi\u00e9me projet \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par AUSRA une start-up support\u00e9e par de gros &quot;venture capitalists&quot;.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/ausra1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"208\" alt=\"Ausra\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/ausra.jpg\" width=\"250\"  \/><\/a>  Elle propose une unit\u00e9 de 177 MW qui devrait \u00eatre op\u00e9rationnelle en 2010, situ\u00e9e pr\u00e8s des villes consommatrices et du r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique, dans la Carrizzo Plain, elle serait constitu\u00e9e de miroirs de Fresnel paraboliques faisant converger la chaleur dans la focale, parcourue par un flux d&rsquo;eau sous pression activant deux turbines g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrices de courant.
