Mais cette \u00e9tude montre \u00e9galement qu&#039;en parall\u00e8le il faut installer massivement de nouvelles lignes d&#039;interconnexion en raison de l&#039;\u00e9loignement vers l&#039;Espagne de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration solaire et vers l&#039;Ouest de l&#039;Europe pour la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e9olienne. Par exemple dans l&#039;hypoth\u00e8se 60% renouvelable il faut installer une interconnexion de <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">33 GW entre l&#039;Espagne et la France<\/span>. Dans l&#039;hypoth\u00e8se 80% renouvelable, l&#039;interconnexion s&#039;\u00e9l\u00e8ve alors \u00e0 47GW. Rappelons toutes les difficult\u00e9s rencontr\u00e9es ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es pour installer une mis\u00e9rable ligne d&#039;un GW de part et d&#039;autre des Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es. <\/p>\n<p>&#160;Cette \u00e9tude met en \u00e9vidence les contraintes apport\u00e9es par une utilisation massive des \u00e9nergies renouvelables de fa\u00e7on centralis\u00e9e. Ceci est perceptible aux Etats-Unis o\u00f9 plus personne ne parle de la Super Grid du candidat Obama, qui devait relier les d\u00e9serts californiens et les Rocheuses aux zones peupl\u00e9es du continent Nord am\u00e9ricain. Mais c&#039;est aussi vrai pour l&#039;Europe. Cette contrainte &quot;logistique&quot; des \u00e9nergies renouvelables quand le d\u00e9sir est de les produire en masse sur le site id\u00e9al venteux ou ensoleill\u00e9, est un obstacle \u00e9vident \u00e0 leur diffusion. A moins de r\u00e9soudre de fa\u00e7on \u00e9l\u00e9gante et \u00e9conomique le transport de masse de l&#039;\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique au travers des continents, il n&#039;est pas \u00e9vident que le mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de l&#039;Europe en 2050 comportera 80% d&#039;\u00e9nergie renouvelable.
