Consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une nuisance, on a trouv\u00e9 en Afrique aucun moyen de l&rsquo;\u00e9radiquer et toutes les tentatives ont tourn\u00e9es au cauchemar \u00e9cologique, sans que la hyacinthe soit troubl\u00e9e \u00e0 terme plus que cela.<br \/>Puis un certain nombre d&rsquo;observation au <a href=\"http:\/\/perso.orange.fr\/co-evolution\/premieres_reussites_de_zeri.htm\">zimbabw\u00e9<\/a> et en Zambie ont men\u00e9 \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer qu&rsquo;on se trompait de strat\u00e9gie, et qu&rsquo;au lieu de s&rsquo;\u00e9puiser \u00e0 la combattre, il serait plus efficace de l&rsquo;utiliser, au plus grand profit des populations locales, touch\u00e9e de nombreux maux. Les gardiens d&rsquo;un parc national remarqu\u00e9rent que les champignons poussaient tr\u00e9s bien sur les hyacinthes qui avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9es des lacs et qui attendaient leur \u00e9vacuation.<\/p>\n<p>Les essais de culture de champignons furent couronn\u00e9s de succ\u00e9s : 1.1 tonnes de champignon pour 1 tonne de substrat. Ce qui reste de la hyacinthe d&rsquo;eau apr\u00e9s la culture de champignon sert d&rsquo;aliment pour le b\u00e9tail, les restes servent \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9levage des vers de terre qui produisent un humus riche, et un engrais appr\u00e9ci\u00e9, le purin produit par le b\u00e9tail nourrit avec la hyacinthe produit du biogaz, utilis\u00e9 pour \u00e9pargner le bois de chauffe et limite ainsi la d\u00e9forestation. En un mot, la hyacinthe d&rsquo;eau, de probl\u00e8me est devenu solution, cr\u00e9ateur de revenus et d&#8217;emplois \u00e0 tous les niveau. La faisabilit\u00e9 technique et \u00e9conomique est tr\u00e9s bonne (amortissement en un an des investissements) et la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grameen-info.org\/\">Grameen Bank<\/a> soutient les projets, par de la recherche et des pr\u00eats.<br \/>Une tonne de substrat produit : 1.1 tonne de champignons, 100 kg de vers de terre, 46 kg de poulets, une tonne d&rsquo;humus et de biogaz. La totale quoi. La plante du d\u00e9veloppement. Il faut, bien s\u00fbr pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance.&nbsp; Les&nbsp; projets de fermes de champignon, soutenu par le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.undp.org\/french\/\">PNUD<\/a>, ont lieu en Namibie et au Zimbabw\u00e9.
