Exportateur depuis 20 ans en gaz, importateur depuis ce mois-ci (avril 2007). Sortie, de fait du nucl\u00e9aire, la Grande-Bretagne ferme ses centrales hors d&rsquo;\u00e2ge. Et, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la politique Tatch\u00e9rienne, la production de houille passe de 120 \u00e0 45 millions de tonnes. Il est \u00e0 noter que les 2\/3 des puits ferm\u00e9s \u00e9taient rentables. Mais, \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, le charbon, c&rsquo;\u00e9tait &quot;d\u00e9pass\u00e9&quot;, et on avait du gaz&#8230;<br \/>Le prix de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 bondit donc en Grande-Bretagne, d&rsquo;autant qu&rsquo;elle ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d&rsquo;aucun contrat de long terme sur le gaz, seulement des prix spots. Aussi, comme une grosse, tr\u00e9s grosse crise \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique s&rsquo;annonce au Royaume-uni, les projets de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9olien se multiplient, notamment de champs \u00e9oliens en mer, au tr\u00e9s gros potentiel. (Et puis l&rsquo;offshore, avec les forages, ils ont l&rsquo;experience&#8230;)<br \/>Siemens fournira 30 turbines d&rsquo;une capacit\u00e9 de 108 m\u00e9gawatts pour un troisi\u00e9me projet offshore.<br \/>Cette ferme&nbsp; repr\u00e9sente un co\u00fbt de 270 millions d&rsquo;euros, et commencera en 2009.
