Selon Gerhardt Schmidt, patron des technologies avanc\u00e9es chez <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogauto.com\/www.ford.fr\">Ford<\/a>, l&rsquo;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fordvehicles.com\/futurevehicles\/2007edge\/\">Edge<\/a> HySeries marque un pas en avant, tout en offrant une plateforme modulable o\u00fb un moteur thermique peut aussi se loger.<\/p>\n<p>La principale innovation se situe dans le concept du syst\u00e8me en soi, qui associe une pile \u00e0 combustible et un pack de batteries. Au lieu de recharger les batteries \u00e0 son domicile, ce qui reste possible, ou par le biais d&rsquo;un moteur thermique, c&rsquo;est la pile \u00e0 combustible qui s&rsquo;en charge ici! On peut se poser la question si le rendement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique reste globalement int\u00e9ressant, mais on se doit de saluer la prouesse d&rsquo;innovation de Ford, qui permet d&rsquo;aller au del\u00e0 des hybrides que nous connaissons aujourd&rsquo;hui. Avant que la pile \u00e0 combustible se mette en route pour recharger le pack de batteries, la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fordvehicles.com\/futurevehicles\/2007edge\/\">Ford Edge<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orange.fr\/bin\/frame.cgi?u=http%3A\/\/salon-de-detroit.auto.orange.fr\/ecologie\/pile-a-combustible-ford-airstream-concept.html\">HySeries<\/a> aura parcouru 300 km avec z\u00e9ro emissions. Par ce principe de fonctionnement, Ford contourne habilement le probl\u00e8me pos\u00e9 par le temps de d\u00e9marrage d&rsquo;une pile \u00e0 combustible. La pile se met en temp\u00e9rature tranquillement, ce qui va favoriser sa dur\u00e9e de vie. Pendant ce temps, vous tournez sur le pack Litium-Ion!
