Le Japon est l&#039;exemple typique de ce genre d&#039;\u00e9volution o\u00f9 \u00e0 la fois les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es se s\u00e9parent de leur voiture et les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, attir\u00e9es par d&#039;autres choix, n&#039;en veulent pas. Dans le cas de la Chine, l&#039;\u00e9quation est bien s\u00fbr totalement diff\u00e9rente puisque urbanisation signifie acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des revenus suffisants pour envisager la possession d&#039;une voiture. Dans un tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant papier paru dans Gasgoo.com, Bill Russo explique que le seuil d&#039;achat d&#039;un v\u00e9hicule par une famille chinoise est un revenu annuel de 30 mille RMB (4400$) et qu&#039;elles sont \u00e0 ce jour 45 millions. De ce fait, 85% des ventes de voitures chinoises sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9es \u00e0 des clients urbains. La population urbaine chinoise qui repr\u00e9sentait 45% de la population en 2008 (600 millions d&#039;habitants) devrait se rapprocher des deux tiers de la population d&#039;ici \u00e0 2020 affirme Russo.
