Bien s\u00fbr une telle d\u00e9marche peut sembler au d\u00e9part on\u00e9reuse, mais elle \u00e9vite par la suite bien des d\u00e9boires industriels et des retards lourds de cons\u00e9quences financi\u00e8res et op\u00e9rationnelles. C&#039;est ainsi que Toshiba, avec l&#039;aide de l&#039;Agence japonaise des Ressources Naturelles et de l&#039;Energie d&#039;une part et du METI d&#039;autre part, vient de d\u00e9cider de lancer un pilote de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&#039;\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique qui simulera les modes complexes du futur. Pour cela l&#039;industriel va utiliser les installations existantes thermiques et \u00e9oliennes de l&#039;\u00eele de Miyako au sud d&#039;Okinawa, auxquelles il va adjoindre <strong><span>4 MW de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration photovolta\u00efque<\/span><\/strong> <strong><\/strong>qui seront compos\u00e9s de 3MW repr\u00e9sentant une ferme raccord\u00e9e au r\u00e9seau, 600MW&#160;simulant des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations et des consommations&#160;industrielles et 400 MW simulant des applications domestiques (FIG., vue par un artiste). Ces installations seront \u00e9quip\u00e9es en tampon de batteries de <strong><span>4MW de type Sodium-Soufre<\/span><\/strong>, ce qui suppose une \u00e9nergie install\u00e9e autour des&#160;24 MWh, et de <strong><span>200 kW de batteries de type Li-Ion<\/span><\/strong> SCiB de Toshiba. L&#039;ensemble sera pilot\u00e9 par un syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le et de supervision (Micro Energy Management System) d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par Toshiba. L&#039;ensemble devrait \u00eatre op\u00e9rationnel avant la fin de l&#039;ann\u00e9e. Les modules solaires seront fournis par Sharp.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451b18369e2012876f3cf99970c-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Toshiba-Okinawa-test\" class=\"asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e2012876f3cf99970c \" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e2012876f3cf99970c-450wi.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Le message important qu&#039;il faut retenir de ce projet est le <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">r\u00f4le fondamental de &quot;load leveling&quot; (FIG.) que vont jouer les batteries Sodium-Soufre au sein du syst\u00e8me complexe<\/span>. C&#039;est le seul syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrochimique \u00e0 ce jour qui peut \u00eatre envisag\u00e9 s\u00e9rieusement pour du stockage de masse d&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 en raison de la grande disponibilit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s (sulfure de sodium, carbone,&#160;alumine&#160;b\u00e9ta comme s\u00e9parateur et aluminium comme&#160;bo\u00eetier). La France (ou l&#039;Europe) doit <strong><span>imp\u00e9rativement<\/span><\/strong> lancer un ou plusieurs projets sur ce type de stockage. Pour l&#039;instant la seule source industrielle pour ce type de batteries est le japonais <strong><span>NGK Insulators<\/span><\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/les-batteries-s.html_.png\" title=\"NGK\">LIRE<\/a>) qui assure avoir re\u00e7u commande de la part d&#039;EDF EN. <em>(&quot;NAS batteries: Overseas market is active due to orders received from Abudhabi and EDF-EN.
