Son choix, de fa\u00e7on assez incompr\u00e9hensible, se porterait sur un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de type Fischer-Tropsch avec addition d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne. Pour cela il se ferait aider par Air Liquide et sa filiale Lurgi (<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/air-liquide-lur.html_.png\" title=\"Lurgi\">LIRE<\/a>), par Choren le sp\u00e9cialiste allemand de la gaz\u00e9ification de la biomasse et que Shell vient de laisser tomber (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leblogenergie.com\/2009\/11\/shell-se-d%C3%A9barasse-de-sa-participation-dans-choren-le-chantre-allemand-du-biomass-to-liquid.html\" title=\"Choren-Shell\">LIRE<\/a>), et par certains autres industriels des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s. Ce pilote affirme le CEA devrait consommer dans les 75000 tonnes de mati\u00e8res s\u00e8ches par an, pour produire 23000 tonnes de produits raffin\u00e9s. Ne vous laissez pas impressionner par de tels chiffres annuels. Avec 340 jours op\u00e9rationnels par an et une densit\u00e9 moyenne des produits raffin\u00e9s de 0,85 ce pilote produira 500 barils par jour. De tels volumes repr\u00e9sentent 1% de ce que produit une raffinerie de p\u00e9trole de taille modeste. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 longuement \u00e9t\u00e9 expliqu\u00e9 ici qu&#039;un tel proc\u00e9d\u00e9, trop complexe, trop dangereux ne pourrait se justifier que pour des installations de grandes tailles. Mais une unit\u00e9 100 fois plus importante se heurterait aux probl\u00e8mes d&#039;approvisionnement en mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re qui demanderaient <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">22000 tonnes de bois par jour<\/span> soit plus de 50 mille m\u00e8tres-cube de taillis ou de paille. Une telle logistique n&#039;est pas \u00e0 la taille de l&#039;Europe, m\u00eame en passant par le bio-oil comme le pr\u00e9conise Lurgi.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/clabedan.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451b18369e20128768b6d34970c-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Choren-process\" class=\"asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451b18369e20128768b6d34970c \" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.thesocialmedia.com\/leblogenergie\/files\/2012\/07\/6a00d83451b18369e20128768b6d34970c-450wi.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>C&#039;est la raison pour laquelle les \u00e9quipes les plus en pointe sur le sujet ont compris qu&#039;il fallait d\u00e9velopper des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s plus rustiques, \u00e0 la taille du canton.
