Devant ce risque de p\u00e9nurie deux attitudes pour les utilisateurs non-chinois sont possibles: soit relancer les exploitations mini\u00e8res abandonn\u00e9es ou ralenties il y a dix ans soit d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles solutions s&#039;affranchissant des Terres Rares qui vont devenir de plus en plus on\u00e9reuses. Akira Shiba travaille activement sur la suppression de ces deux points faibles dans ce type de moteur en augmentant le nombre de p\u00f4les du stator (18) et du rotor (12) et probablement en travaillant sur la nature des mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s ainsi que sur le mode \u00e9lectronique de pilotage du moteur. Il revendique avoir d\u00e9fini un moteur de 403 N.m de couple et de 86% de rendement tout \u00e0 fait \u00e9quivalent \u00e0 celui de la Prius qui dans sa d\u00e9finition \u00e0 aimant permanent affiche un couple de 400 N.m et un rendement de 83%.<\/p>\n<p>Il se pourrait donc dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir, si les Terres Rares le deviennent vraiment, que les futurs moteurs de v\u00e9hicules hybrides ou \u00e9lectriques ne soient plus d\u00e9pendants d&#039;approvisionnement en aimants permanents. Voila un tr\u00e8s bon exemple d&#039;adaptabilit\u00e9 technologique aux contraintes \u00e9conomiques du moment.
