Pour progresser dans cet accroissement d&#039;\u00e9nergie les d\u00e9veloppeurs de batteries peuvent jouer sur les mat\u00e9riaux mis en oeuvre, sur les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s complexes de r\u00e9alisation et d&#039;assemblage des composants et sur l&#039;optimisation de la tension de charge de l&#039;accumulateur qui d\u00e9termine le niveau d&#039;oxydation de l&#039;\u00e9lectrode positive. Dans ce genre d&#039;exercice les constructeurs japonais sont devenus ma\u00eetres. C&#039;est ainsi que Panasonic annonce la sortie d&#039;un nouvel \u00e9l\u00e9ment 18650 de <strong><span>3,1 Ah<\/span><\/strong> construit \u00e0 partir d&#039;oxyde de nickel lithi\u00e9, poss\u00e9dant une couche d&#039;oxyde de nickel protectrice \u00e0 la surface de l&#039;\u00e9lectrode et charg\u00e9 \u00e0 4,2 V.
